Privacy policy

This is a translation of the Turkish original. If the two differ, the Turkish version applies.

Effective: October 18, 2026. This text covers the Premium Player app, the web app that runs in the browser (app.preplay.cc) and the preplay.cc site.

  • Your password does not reach our server; the one exception is adding a list to a TV from your phone (details below).
  • Your data is not sold, not used for advertising and not shared with third parties.
  • Usage statistics are recorded under this policy, which you accept when you save your first source, and only so that we can support you and improve the quality of the service; you can turn them off at any time in Settings › About › Privacy.

What the app always sends

So that it can announce updates and we can find your device when you have a problem, the app registers itself with our server and from time to time sends a "still in use" signal. This record contains:

  • A one-way hash of the random ID the app creates when it is installed (not a hardware ID)
  • Platform and device type (TV, phone, tablet), manufacturer and model
  • Name and version of the operating system, processor architecture (e.g. x86_64, arm64), app version, language and time zone
  • Screen resolution, the highest picture quality it can play (4K, HDR, Dolby Vision support), memory class and network type (Wi-Fi, wired, mobile)
  • The support code the server generates (e.g. K7Q2-M9XD)

The server sees your IP address with every request; if you have not given permission, it does not store your IP address. A device record that has not been seen at all for 180 days is deleted automatically, together with all data linked to it.

What is recorded with your permission

There is no separate permission window. When you save your first source of your own — in the app, or on the preplay.cc/tv page when adding a list to a TV from your phone — the line right below the button says that by saving you accept the Terms of Use and this Privacy Policy, including the usage statistics below. Saving (on the phone page, pressing "Televizyona gönder", i.e. "Send to TV") is this permission; from that moment on, the following is recorded as well.

  • You can turn the statistics off at any time in the app under Settings › About › Privacy. From the moment you turn them off, no usage data is sent and your IP address is not stored; the app keeps working the same way.
  • If you started using the app before this change and never answered the permission question, the new version explains this once in an information note; the statistics are on unless you turn them off.
  • If you explicitly said "No" before, the statistics stay off; if you wish, you can turn them on in Settings › About › Privacy.
  • Older versions of the app still ask for this permission in a separate window.

When you report a problem and when you recommend the app to a friend

When you report a problem in the app from Settings › Support, the text you write, the topic you choose and where the problem is (screen, stream name, panel address, error code) reach us together with your device record. The app may also add the player's state at that moment and a summary of the last five attempts to open a stream (result, duration, error code, panel address); usernames, passwords and the path and query parts of addresses are not sent, and the server cleans the incoming report of them once more. You see our answer in the same place in your app; no e-mail address or phone number is asked for this. Reports and their answers are kept for 180 days. This is independent of your permission for usage data: it happens only when you send a report.

Apps downloaded from preplay.cc and installed through your "Recommend to a friend" link are counted for your link. Your app shows only how many people installed it; who they are is shown neither to you nor to us.

When adding a list to a TV from your phone

If you choose "Add with phone (QR)" on the TV, the preplay.cc/tv page opens on your phone. The list address, username and password you type there come to our server only to be passed on to your TV:

  • They are stored encrypted; they are not written to logs, to measurement data or to the admin panel.
  • They are deleted as soon as your TV receives them.
  • If they are not received, they become unusable when the code expires (10 minutes) and are deleted within 15 minutes at the latest.

If you use "Send from phone…" in the player to send a subtitle file from your phone to the TV, the file is kept under the same rules: it waits encrypted, it is deleted as soon as the TV receives it, and if it is not received it is deleted within 15 minutes at the latest.

No measurement script runs on these pages and no cookie is set.

The same route also works the other way: in the app, a source's "Send to another device" button in Settings › Sources sends the list to the other device with the code shown on that device's screen. The list address, username and password you send are kept under the same rules (encrypted, deleted as soon as the other device receives them, deleted within 15 minutes at the latest if they are not received) and are not written anywhere. Attempts to guess the code are slowed down.

Voice search (the microphone on the Search page) uses your device's own speech recognition service; the audio does not reach us, the app receives only the recognised text. For voice search in the web app, see below.

The web app (app.preplay.cc)

The web app that runs in the browser follows the same rules as the app installed on a device; everything this page says about the app applies to it as well. The differences are:

  • Your lists and passwords stay in your browser. The sources you add, your watch history, your favourites and your settings are kept only in this browser's storage. Usernames and passwords are encrypted with a key of the browser's that cannot be exported. They are not sent to our server. Deleting this site's data in your browser deletes all of them.
  • Streams come directly from your provider. Your browser itself downloads the channel list, the guide and the picture from your provider's server. This traffic does not pass through our server and is not recorded.
  • The device record contains less information. When the web app registers itself with our server, it sends only the platform ("web"), the device type estimated from the window width (phone, tablet or desktop), the app version, the browser's language and the time zone. Manufacturer, model, operating system version and hardware information are not sent; from the identification line your browser sends with every request (its user agent), the server writes only the names of the browser and the operating system (for example "Chrome · Windows") and does not store the line itself. The random installation ID and the support code are stored in the browser; if you delete this site's data, the web app registers itself as a new device.
  • Usage statistics are sent, as in the app, with the permission you give when you save your first source, and are turned off in Settings › About › Privacy. Records that could not be sent wait in a short queue in the browser. The first error not caught on the page (the type of error and where in the code it occurred, stripped of personal data) is sent with your permission at the next launch, like the crash record in the apps.
  • Support, reporting a problem, recommending the app to a friend and sending a list to another device work as in the app; the rules described above apply unchanged.
  • There are no cookies. The web app does not set cookies and does not run preplay.cc's site measurement script; the cookie rules below apply only to the preplay.cc site.
  • Voice search uses your browser's speech recogniser. Depending on your browser, your voice may be turned into text by a service of the company that makes the browser (for example, Chrome and Edge send the audio to their own servers); the browser's own privacy terms apply to this processing. The microphone permission is asked for by the browser, and the microphone is used only when you press the button. Here too, only the recognised text reaches us.

What is never collected

  • Your password, including the password inside an M3U address
  • Hardware identifiers such as IMEI, serial number or MAC address
  • Advertising ID, GPS location, the name of the Wi-Fi network you are connected to
  • Your contacts and the other apps on your device
  • Your name, e-mail address and phone number; these are never asked for

What you type when adding a list to a TV from your phone is a separate case: it is not collected, it is only passed on to your TV as described above.

Website measurement and cookies

On preplay.cc and on sites that use the Premium Player measurement script, we measure visits to understand how the site is used. The measurements go only to our own server; no third-party analytics or advertising service is used.

What is measured: the page viewed, the site that referred you and campaign tags, the buttons and links clicked, the time spent on the page and in its sections, how far the page was scrolled, browser errors, country and device type.

  • On preplay.cc and hdpremiumtv.com no cookie banner is shown; you are deemed to consent to the measurement, and two cookies are set on your first visit: pp_z (a random visitor ID, 13 months; to count that you came back) and pp_onay (your preference, 13 months).
  • On sites that use the measurement script with a cookie banner, these two cookies are set only when you press Accept.
  • If you do not want this, you can decline through the Cookie preference link at the bottom of the page: pp_z is deleted, and only pp_onay remains, to remember your preference; no other cookie or browser storage is used. Your visit is still counted, but anonymously: a hash is made from your IP address and your browser with a secret value that changes every day. This value is deleted the next day, so you are not recognised when you come back. Your IP address is not stored.
  • If "Global Privacy Control" is turned on in your browser, no cookie is set on any site and you are deemed to have declined.

You can change your preference at any time through the Cookie preference link. Measurement data is kept for 400 days, browser errors for 90 days.

Downloads

Each time the app is downloaded from this site, where the download came from (e.g. the button on the site or an in-app update), the version, device type, country and IP address are recorded. The IP address is deleted after 90 days; the download count remains.

When the app registers for the first time, if a download for the same platform (e.g. an Android download for the Android app, a Windows download for the Windows app) was made from this site over the same internet connection in the last 48 hours, where that download came from and the campaign tag or referring site of the visit before the download (e.g. "button on the site · google") are added to the device record. This way we see which promotion works. For the matching, the IP address is used only at that moment; it is not written to the device record. On devices installed before this matching began (October 10, 2026) that have allowed usage statistics, the same matching may be done once afterwards with the device's first IP address, which is already stored; nothing new is recorded, only the same tags are added.

What we use the data for

  • Support: When you write to us, to find your device with your support code and see where the problem comes from. During the conversation we may add short notes and tags to the device record; they are deleted together with the device record.
  • Service quality: To notice when a widespread problem starts with a provider or in a version.
  • Statistics: To know how many people use the app, on which devices and how much.
  • Security: To prevent abuse of the service.

Where the data is kept

The data is kept on Premium Player's own server, which runs in a data centre in Finland (European Union). The traffic of the app and the site passes through Cloudflare. The database is closed to the internet; the admin panel can be entered only with two-step verification.

Your rights

You can ask to access the data kept about you, to have it corrected or deleted, and you can object to its processing.

  • You can turn off usage statistics in the app under Settings › About › Privacy (in older versions, the "Share usage data" switch in Settings › About); after that, no usage data is sent.
  • To have your records deleted, write to info@preplay.cc with your support code (in the app under Settings › About).
  • Uninstalling the app stops it from sending data immediately.

Changes and contact

If this text changes, the effective date is updated. The text is updated before we start collecting a new type of data. For questions: info@preplay.cc.
